I am a machine learning researcher and engineer, with interests spanning computer vision, audio processing, multi-agent modeling, and biologically-inspired neural mechanisms.
I am currently with Google Brain as a research intern working under Samy Bengio.
I am a Ph.D. student at CU Boulder, and my advisor is Michael C. Mozer.

I recieved my Computer Science M.S. from University of Colorado Boulder, and I completed a triple major Bachelor's of Science at the University of Arizona; my majors were applied mathematics, neuroscience & cognitive science, and molecular & cellular biology.
I've traveled 30+ countries, which included working on farms, couch surfing, mountaineering, taking care of 200 sled dogs in northern Finland, and long-distance solo trekking in the Andes, the Himalayas, Patagonia, etc. In my former life, I was a musician; see music tab for more.
